BIBLE

Through Bible stories the children learn that Jesus loves them. They also learn that they are expected to obey and respect their parents and learn how to get along with one another. Children learn to pray and that God hears their prayers.

ENGLISH

Children enrolled in this school will have a definite advantage in English language skills when they enter elementary school. Good pronunciation is learned from native English speakers. Children also have a very good opportunity to understand English as they hear it every day. Learning these skills at an early age will be very helpful for the children throughout their school years. Parents of the children and visitors are very surprised to see how well the children respond to instructions in English. Five and six year old children begin to read English. Children are encouraged to progress according to their ability.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT

Children are encouraged to develop large motor skills through a spacious outside play area with a "Mountain View Play Centre," Cedar Cottage, sand box, chinning bars and monkey bars. Children enjoy playing amongst the many fruit trees on the property. The inside of the school is well equipped to help the children develop small motor skills. Also, we desire for children to know that they are loved and accepted as they are and for them to accept themselves as they are. They learn to help friends and even the teacher. Our goal is for the children to have self-confidence and be aware of their surroundings. Some of the children begin to develop as leaders.

A GREAT VALUE

International schools are usually very expensive. However, since our school is not set up to make a profit very reasonable fees give a great opportunity for parents on Awaji Island to enroll their children in an international school.
